About the event
A TALK BY CHRIS TOMSON
REWILDING - WHAT'S ALL ABOUT?
What is rewilding? Chris Tomson sets out to find the answer to this question to see if it can help resolve the biodiversity crisis, visiting some of the main rewilding sites in England and Scotland, Knepp, Glen Feshie, Carrifran and Glen Affric and considers how the rewilding concept can be applied at a smaller scale on farmland and even in the garden.
Chris Tomson has had a 50 year career in farming and conservation with 20 years as farm manager on the Broomhead Estate followed by conservation adviser roles at the Peak District National Park and RSPB and now works as a self employed conservation adviser covering Yorkshire and Humber
